Job Description
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Support in origination and successful execution of private equity or M&A transactions
Preparation of Transaction Collaterals Teaser/ Pitch Document, Information Memorandum, Financial Model, etc
Maintain deal trackers
Track recent developments in the sector, regulations
Carry out sector research along with the reporting manager
Maintain data received from the client and organize data room during the due diligence process
Manage investor and client expectations concerning deals
Support the reporting manager in creating a BD pipeline by suggesting new client relationships that can be pursued
Experience Requirements/ Education
6-10 years of Investment Banking experience or Corporate Finance experience
MBA Finance or CPA / CFA/ CA with a minimum of 6 years post-qualification experience
Good presentation and communication skills
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting and Finance is a must
Experience of making financial models/ valuations, etc is a must
Attention to detail, organized and thorough with a desire for continuous improvements
Strong entrepreneurial drive and a self-starter
Should have handled Transaction Collaterals Teaser/ Pitch Document, Information Memorandum, Financial Model, etc.
Having been part of closed private equity, M&A or debt syndication transactions is a plus;
Knowledge of relevant regulations (FDI, SEBI, RBI, etc.), term sheets, and shareholder agreements is a plus.
