This role is part of the Walmart Product team with a specific focus on building products for Walmart e-commerce. Your mission is to drive innovation in Walmart Marketplace.

Position Summary

As a Senior Product Manager on the team, you will collaborate with multiple functions including engineering, business and Sellers operations across geographies. You will work closely with key stakeholders on the merchandising side and drive the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution product strategy.

You will work on building the next generation marketplace ecosystem serving all Walmart e-ecommerce across US and beyond. The goal would be to study and drive Seller productivity, Improve experience & usability with adoption of product offerings.

  • Retail/e-commerce domain knowledge

  • Proven experience with Marketplace products as a Product Manager

  • Ability to organize and prioritize work, establish realistic goals and deadlines and manage changing priorities

  • Ability to achieve goals in an innovative environment and to evolve product strategy based on research, data, and industry trends

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Ability to analysis products and process drive improvements aligned with strategic goals

  • Understand digital marketing channel for marketing

  • Ability to work and manage multiple product areas and initiatives

  • Build strong business partnership with key stakeholders

  • Ability to explain the business and technical value of a technical offering to an audience mix of technical and non-technical customer representatives

What you'll do

  • Define and lead the vision, build & contribute to strategy for seller platform, apps and API eco-system, provide product thought leadership in identifying critical customer requirements, understand business goals, define product end state, and work with development teams in designing optimal experience

  • Work closely with architects and engineers to design scalable solutions while ensuring a frictionless user experience

  • Work closely with the different business offering teams to understand the requirements, priorities, and drive towards a common goal

  • Develop external & internal market analysis and fitment

  • Do in-depth Build, buy, partner analysis, monetization, open-sourcing, & adoption strategies

  • Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects

  • Ensures business needs are being met

  • Manage & drive partner roadmap relationships

  • Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity

  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates

  • Supports product implementation and deployment

What You Will Bring

  • Good academic record with Computer Science or Engineering background; prefer a top tier MBA

  • 8+ years of Industry experience, focused on solving data & analytics challenges with minimum 2 years of product management experience; prefer some e-commerce or retail experience

  • E-Commerce software evangelist

  • Strong product management experience in managing platforms and business initiatives, proven experience in building data driven products to solve critical business problems considering user at the center stage

  • Proven experience leading products from concept through marketing and/or user adoption

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Good experience of working with globally distributed teams in a collaborative and productive manner
