Our team is a part of Supply Chain Technology at Sam’s club. We are in the process of transforming our replenishment systems to improve stock availability of our products in our warehouses and clubs.

What you will do
- You will work closely with Business team to understand the requirements, drive design, architecture and influence the choice of technology to deliver solution working closely with senior architects and leadership team.
- Join our young, highly energetic and dynamic team, and take part in defining the new age e-commerce and in club shopping experience. You will also have challenging opportunities to cross-collaborate with inter-disciplinary product and engineering teams to solve some of the unique challenges in multi-channel shopping experience.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead developers to successfully build and deploy cutting edge solutions at scale, impacting multi-billion-dollar business.
- Help define Technical Roadmap and own the entire product delivery end to end.
- Work very closely with various business stakeholders to drive the execution of multiple business plans and technologies
- Improve, optimize and identify opportunities for efficient software development processes
- Hire, Develop and Retain a strong team of engineers.
- Exhibit strong leadership and communication skills to collaborate with product, engineering and management across different geographic locations
- Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
What you will bring
- An Engineering Degree - B.E/B.Tech/MS/PhD in any stream – Computer Science preferred.
- 11+ years of relevant experience, Minimum of 2 years of experience with agile principles and practices. Experience in leading Scrum team.
- 5 Yr Exp in leading Engineering teams for product development
- Experience with managing L1 and L2 production support teams for mission critical applications
- Strong Java/J2EE development track record with hands on experience on Microservices architecture and designing
- A good understanding of CS Fundamentals, Data Structures, Algorithms and Problem Solving
- Currently hands on writing and reviewing code
- A good technical mindset and product development driven experience.
- Passion for quick learning and adapting in a fast-paced global environment
- Strong sense of ownership, focus on quality, responsiveness, efficiency and innovation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Great communication skills, ability to work with other teams and people. Good stake holder’s management skills.
- A proven track record for developing quality software.
- Ability to work with global (US) distributed teams in a collaborative and productive manner
- Retail / E-Commerce background is helpful
