Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Workday Report Writer with expertise across Finance, HCM, and Supply Chain (SCM) modules. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining reports and dashboards within Workday, while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable insights that support business operations and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Workday reports including Advanced, Matrix, Composite, and Dashboards
• Create and manage calculated fields based on business requirements
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, and Supply Chain stakeholders to gather reporting needs
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports
• Troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues
• Optimize report performance and efficiency
• Support ad-hoc reporting and analytics requests
• Assist in Workday releases by testing and updating reports
• Maintain documentation for reports, business logic, and data sources
• Support audit, compliance, and statutory reporting requirements

Functional Responsibilities:

Finance:

• Develop reports for:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Financial Close & Reconciliation
• Support financial reporting, accounting, and audit requirements

HCM (Human Capital Management):

• Develop reports for:
• Employee Data & Workforce Analytics
• Compensation & Benefits
• Payroll & Time Tracking
• Talent & Performance Management
• Support HR dashboards and compliance reporting

SCM (Supply Chain Management):

• Develop reports for:
• Procurement & Purchasing
• Inventory Management
• Supplier/Vendor Management
• Spend & Operational Analytics
• Support supply chain reporting and operational insights

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field
• 5+ years of Workday Reporting experience across one or more modules (Finance/HCM/SCM)
• Strong knowledge of:
• Workday Report Writer (Advanced, Matrix, Composite)
• Calculated fields
• Workday data sources and business objects
• Functional knowledge in at least one domain:
• Finance (GL, AP, AR)
• HCM (Core HR, Payroll, Compensation)
• SCM (Procurement, Inventory)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Willingness to work in EST hours

Preferred Qualifications:

• Workday Certification (Financials / HCM / SCM / Reporting)
• Experience with:
• Workday Prism Analytics
• Dashboards and advanced analytics
• Exposure to integrations:
• EIB, Core Connectors
• Knowledge of:
• Audit & compliance reporting (SOX, internal audits)
• Financial close, HR compliance, or supply chain operations
