About the Role

Experience in WooCommerce is desirable. Knowledge of jQuery and Ajax along with Working knowledge of responsive design and development (Bootstrap) and JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of existing inbuilt WordPress functions
• Creation of custom post types, plugins/ widgets, Theme/ Template integration
• Understanding of RESTful Web Services technologies such as JSON, SOAP, and HTTP
• Implement and maintain databases, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval
• Integrate third-party plugins as needed
• Customize and extend WordPress functionalities
• Design and implement custom WordPress themes from scratch
• Perform regular updates and maintenance tasks
• Monitor website performance and implement optimizations
• Design, develop and support WordPress development to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility
• Solid understanding of WordPress core, themes, and plugins
• Knowledge of web development tools and version control systems
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and website optimization techniques
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
• Experience with e-commerce platforms and integrations
• Knowledge of security best practices for WordPress
• Familiarity with popular WordPress page builders
• Understanding of web accessibility standards
