Important Work Arrangement Note

This role requires full-time, on-site work from Monday to Friday (5 days a week). Candidates should be comfortable with a fully office-based setup, as remote or hybrid work is not available for this position.

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced WordPress & Next.js (React) Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality websites and web applications for our clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, creating visually appealing, highly functional, and performance-driven digital experiences.

In this role, you will work with WordPress, Next.js, and modern web technologies to build scalable solutions, implement custom themes and plugins, integrate third-party services, and leverage AI-powered features and automation to enhance user experiences and business workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and building website front-ends using WordPress, React, and Next.js.
• Creating website architecture and application structures.
• Designing and managing website back-ends, including database and server integration.
• Developing and customizing WordPress themes and plugins.
• Building and maintaining modern web applications using Next.js and React.
• Integrating WordPress with headless CMS architectures and REST APIs.
• Implementing AI-enabled features such as chatbots, content generation, intelligent search, workflow automation, and personalization tools.
• Conducting website performance testing and optimization.
• Troubleshooting content, functionality, and performance issues.
• Conducting WordPress training with clients when required.
• Monitoring and maintaining the performance of live websites and applications.
• Collaborating with design, product, and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

WordPress & Next.js Developer Requirements

• Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer, Front-End Developer, or Full-Stack Developer.
• Strong experience with WordPress development, including custom themes, plugins, and API integrations.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, React.js, and Next.js.
• Experience with PHP, MySQL, and WordPress development best practices.
• Familiarity with headless WordPress architecture and REST APIs.
• Experience integrating AI-powered tools and services, including AI APIs, chatbots, content automation, recommendation systems, or workflow automation.
• Understanding of AI-enabled user experiences and modern web application development.
• Knowledge of code versioning tools, including Git, Mercurial, and SVN.
• Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
• Good understanding of website architecture, performance optimization, security, and aesthetics.
• Ability to manage projects and work independently.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with Headless WordPress and API Integrations
