Windows Engineer (EUC)

We are looking for an experienced L3 Windows Engineer (EUC) to support and manage enterprise-scale Windows environments. The candidate will act as a subject matter expert (SME) and final escalation point for critical incidents, ensuring high availability, security, and performance of endpoint infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the final escalation point (L3) for critical P1/P2 incidents
• Manage and support Microsoft Windows architecture in complex enterprise environments
• Lead advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA)
• Handle endpoint management, virtualization, and desktop services
• Drive automation initiatives and operational improvements
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to L1/L2 teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for end-to-end solution delivery
• Integrate and analyze logs using tools like Splunk for monitoring and compliance
• Participate in change management, risk assessment, and stakeholder communication
• Maintain technical documentation, solution design, and runbooks
• Manage and prioritize future requests and enhancements
• Improve performance, access control, and user experience across environments

Must-Have Skills (Non-Negotiable):

• DaaS / Virtualization (Desktop as a Service)
• Windows Endpoint Management (Config Manager / SCCM)
• Security & Compliance (BitLocker / Microsoft Defender)
• Tanium (Endpoint Security & Management)
• Strong dashboarding, analytics, and automation exposure
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and performance tools
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and RCA capabilities
• Experience handling P1/P2 incidents and war-room calls
• Exposure to ITSM processes
• Experience in large enterprise environments

Good to Have:

• Exposure to Splunk or similar monitoring tools
• Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell preferred)

Certifications (Preferred):

• Microsoft Certifications (MCSE, MCSA)
• Tanium Certifications (TCA)

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelors / Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to work from client office near Hyderabad
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle client interactions
• Ability to present insights and recommendations for upcoming changes
