Job Description
Title: Windows Administrator SME
Experience : 8- 12 yrs
Location : Chennai, Magnum
Mode of interview: Walkin/ F2F
Date of interview: 16th May.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as SME for Windows Server infrastructure across enterprise environments
- Administer, manage, and optimize Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022
- Architect and maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and FSMO roles
- Lead server upgrades, migrations, patching, and lifecycle management
- Own incident, problem, and change management for Windows technologies
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for highseverity issues and outages
- Design and maintain high availability and failover solutions
- Implement and monitor backup & disaster recovery strategies
- Drive security hardening, compliance, and audit readiness
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell
- Collaborate with network, cloud, security, and application teams
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior administrators
- Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles
