Position: WiFi Planning Engineer

Location: Indore - MP

Job Summary:

We are looking for a WiFi Planning Engineer responsible for designing, planning, and optimizing enterprise wireless networks to ensure high performance, reliability, and coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct predictive, passive, and active RF site surveys to evaluate wireless environments.
• Design WiFi networks including AP placement, antenna selection, channel and power planning.
• Create heatmaps, network layouts, diagrams, and bill of materials (BOM).
• Analyze WiFi performance metrics (RSSI, SNR, throughput, latency) and optimize network performance.
• Perform post-deployment validation surveys and troubleshoot connectivity or interference issues.
• Support AP installation, controller configuration, SSID setup, and authentication.
• Maintain accurate network documentation and as-built designs.
• Stay updated with WiFi technologies such as WiFi 6, WiFi 6E, and WiFi 7.
• Collaborate with IT teams, architects, project managers, and security teams to ensure effective implementation.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong knowledge of RF planning, wireless design, and enterprise WiFi solutions
• Experience with WiFi surveys, network optimization, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with enterprise wireless controllers and access point deployments
