Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

• Solid hands on experience with Linux/Unix commands.
• Profile installation/Upgradation and Server Level configuration
• Understand the IBMs instruction and create the profile in a clustered environment.
• Ability to perform In-Place upgrade of WebSphere.
• Understanding of different IBM fix packs and install using Linux commands.
• Collaborating with Citi engineering team and IBM team to troubleshoot software installation issues.
• Good experience in starting and stopping clustered environments using wsadmin commands; identify and manage stuck processes and resolving them using unix commands .
• Application Configuration Install/uninstall of the applications using wsadmin/console and understanding of WebSphere JEE resources such as Data sources, middleware/JMS related configuration
• Able to enable different log levels and submit traces/details to IBM via PMR for triage.
• Experience of SSL management in WebSphere, including exporting/importing keys for various enterprise systems
• Collaborating with development teams to troubleshoot and fix server level issues like OOM, certificate problems, and hung processes etc.
• Experience with default WebSphere monitoring tools and adding WebSphere processes to AppDynamics, Dynatrace, etc.
• Understanding of Java EE and Rest concepts
• CI/CD process and tools experience- GitHub, TeamCity/Jenkins, UDeploy etc.
• Knowledge in automation process and innovative to automate various infra level challenges like house keeping based on date , folder etc.
