Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled WebMethods Architect / Senior Manager with extensive experience in designing, implementing, and governing enterprise integration solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in the webMethods suite, a strategic mindset, and proven leadership capabilities to drive large-scale integration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

• Define and design enterprise-level integration architectures using the webMethods Suite.
• Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance integration solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Establish architecture standards, design guidelines, and integration best practices.

Technical Leadership

• Lead architecture discussions and provide technical direction for integration projects.
• Mentor development teams and guide them through complex technical challenges.
• Conduct architecture, design, and code reviews to ensure quality and compliance.

Project Delivery & Oversight

• Serve as the technical lead for enterprise integration initiatives.
• Collaborate with project managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions within defined project timelines.

Integration Governance

• Define and enforce integration standards, policies, and governance frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to optimize reliability and scalability.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Stay current with emerging integration technologies and industry trends.
• Drive modernization initiatives, automation strategies, and DevOps adoption.
• Recommend innovative solutions to improve integration efficiency and maintainability.

Required Qualifications

Mandatory Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in enterprise integration, including 8+ years of hands-on experience with webMethods.
• Strong expertise in:
• Integration Server
• API Gateway
• My WebMethods Server (MWS)
• webMethods.IO (WM.IO)
• ActiveTransfer (AT)
• Universal Messaging (UM) / Broker
• Trading Networks
• Deep understanding of:
• Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
• Microservices Architecture
• Event-Driven Architecture
• REST and SOAP Web Services
• API Management
• B2B/EDI Integrations
• Strong experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and high-availability configurations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD tools such as BitBucket, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as JMS and Kafka.
• Familiarity with hybrid integration architectures (On-Premise and Cloud).
• WebMethods or Enterprise Architecture certifications are highly desirable.
