WebFOCUS Developer

We are looking for an experienced WebFOCUS Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise reporting and analytics solutions for banking and financial services applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in WebFOCUS reporting, data integration, SQL development, and BI reporting solutions with exposure to banking data platforms and regulatory reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WebFOCUS reports, dashboards, scorecards, and analytical solutions.
• Design complex reporting solutions using WebFOCUS Developer Studio and InfoAssist.
• Build parameterized reports, drill-down reports, and scheduled reporting solutions.
• Integrate WebFOCUS with databases, data warehouses, and enterprise applications.
• Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and data extraction logic for reporting requirements.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and data teams to gather reporting requirements.
• Optimize report performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Support data validation, reconciliation, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Implement security and access controls within WebFOCUS environments.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and BI teams for enterprise reporting initiatives.
• Participate in production deployments, incident management, and root cause analysis (RCA).

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in WebFOCUS BI Tool.
• Experience with WebFOCUS Developer Studio, InfoAssist, and reporting frameworks.
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Snowflake, etc.).
• Experience in report scheduling, report bursting, and dashboard development.
• Knowledge of ETL/data warehouse concepts.
• Familiarity with banking or financial services reporting environments.
• Experience with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting is preferred.
• Understanding of data governance and compliance standards.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
