Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

WebSphere:

Monitor and support WebSphere Application Server(WAS -8.5)
Configure and manage WebSphere cluster, data source and JMS
Perform deployment of enterprise application in PROD, QA environments
Troubleshoot application server related issues.
Apply fixpack and manage SSL certificates.
Monitor performance metrics, JVM heap utilization, GC logs etc
Strong knowledge of WebSphere ND architecture, profiles, and admin console.
Hand-on experience with Linux and shell scripting.
Monitoring tool experience with ELK, Grafana .
Change management process for planned changes.
Knowledge of load balancing, session management and high availability.
Work with CI/CD and Config tools like Jenkins,Git, Ansible and Puppet for automated deployments.
Patch management and Coordination with infrastructure teams.

MQ:

Understanding of IBM MQ concepts Queue,MQ manager, Channels and listeners.
Perform health checks of queue manger and services.
Monitor queue depths,channel statuses, and listener availability with Datadog and Grafana.
Clean up /Move expired or stuck messages on queue.
Monitoring the dash boards and take immediate action and provide the root cause
