Job Description
Job Summary:
Manager Voice Platform Architect in Engineering is an SME for designing the Voice Solutions, Network deployed on Ishan Technologies network. Its a code Engineering function involving technical evaluation of technology and OEM products, by conducting RFP, PoC s, interop testing. He will design services and technology to cater to product requirements received in the MRD and provide design documents e. g. Engineering plan, HLD, LLD. He will be a team member working in collaboration with cross functional teams for services launch / rollout, customer onboarding for revenue growth of organisation. Candidate shall design the solution in adherence to the DOT guidelines, license conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Consult Business team for the technical requirements of the product and for Voice Services Managed Voice services from Ishans Cloud and partners OEM cloud.
- Technical evaluation of the technology platform, OEM products, Solution Interop testing for validations/ certifications.
- Designing, planning of technical solution for Voice services, SIP NNIs with the partner NSO operators network, provide HLD, LLD, Engineering plan documents
- Conducting the upgrade, update validations in the lab for OEM software releases.
- Trouble-shooting network incidents , incidents on network , SIP troubleshooting , SBC related problems in configurations to be intervened and resolved.
- Technology platform Life cycle management - upgrade , update, tech refresh.
- Management of IP allocations, DIDs assignments, designs of customer network.
- Validation of customer solutions for compatibility of Voice network, committed features and functionalities.
- Review of solutions from Solutions Architect to ensure compliance for DOT guidelines.
- Working with OEM for solution design, technology selection, BOQ standardization and quote

- L4 Support for Incidents management.
- Work with Cross functional teams for O&M activities, new services rollout, incident management etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology.
- 5+ years of experience working on Telecom solutions NGN Sonus, ZTE, Dialogic, SBCs AudioCodes, Ribbon, Oracle.
- Strong expertise and hands- on skill for troubleshooting of VOIP protocols SIP, h.323.
- Having knowledge on the WebRTC
- Experience of handling VOIP, IP Telephony , SIP Trunk services
- Demonstrated skills for the Routing of voice calls, Exchange data management, performance management.
- Installation and O&M management for Telecom network platforms NGN, SBCs, Voice gateways, LIM solution
- Awareness of Cisco Collaboration services and Contact Center systems architecture shall be nice to have skills.
- Awareness of DOT Guidelines for OSP, regulatory framework and solution approached in compliance to DOT guidelines.
