Our studio is tucked away in Tulsi Farms, Chhatarpur, Delhi. Nestled among trees, seasonal gardens, a citrus grove, and our beloved dogs Nico & Dot, we call it the Treehouse. It earned its name when our architect reworked the blueprint to protect every single tree on the land. Its a space where creativity brims and energy flows.

Your Role in the Story:

As Head of VM Operations at Nicobar, you are the custodian of how the brand looks, feels, and breathes across every store in India. You translate seasonal intent into spatial storytelling - ensuring that from Chennai to New Delhi, the Nicobar experience is unmistakable. This role sits at the intersection of creative vision and operational rigour, working in close partnership with the Chief Merchandising Officer to keep the VM calendar robust and responsive, the teams inspired, and the stores consistently exceptional.

Where Youll Make Impact:

• Lead the planning and end-to-end execution of the Pan-India VM calendar in close partnership with the Chief Merchandising Officer - from conceptualising seasonal windows and in-store stories to coordinating rollouts across all retail locations on time and within budget.
• Own and uphold Nicobar's brand visual standards across every touchpoint - creating planograms and rollout decks, conducting audits, setting benchmarks, and ensuring each store delivers a consistent, elevated in-store experience that reflects the brand's design ethos.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, buying, retail operations, and design teams to ensure VM direction is always in step with product drops, storytelling narratives, and commercial priorities - bridging the creative and the commercial seamlessly.
• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of regional VMs - fostering a culture of creativity, agility, accountability, and continuous learning across all geographies.
• Champion a frugal, sustainable approach to VM - designing windows and in-store setups that are thoughtfully engineered for longevity, reusability, and minimal waste without compromising on impact.

What You Bring Along:

• 8-10 years of hands-on visual merchandising experience, with significant time spent leading VM operations across multiple retail locations or a national network.
• A proven track record of building and coaching VM teams - you know how to bring out the best in people and elevate a team's creative and executional standards over time.
• Strong command over VM planning processes - from seasonal calendars and planograms to store-level execution and compliance - with an eye for detail that never slips.
• Digital fluency and comfort with AI tools - you actively explore how technology can sharpen your planning, visual communication, and team workflows.
• A resourceful, frugal mindset - skilled at creating beautiful, lasting in-store environments that are both cost-conscious and environmentally considered.
