Visual Designer

Role Summary:

Design is one of the key roles in our organisation. This is how our users will experience our products, and we are obsessed with giving them the best visual experience by shipping beautiful products across all channels - App, Web, and others included.

Visual Design at Raise is the custodian of our brand identity across every touchpoint - Product, Apps, Web, Social Media, and both online & offline experiences. As a Visual Designer, you will design a wide range of visual experiences across digital and offline platforms. To succeed in this role, you should be a self-starter with a strong ability to craft compelling visual stories, illustrations, and brand-led experiences, along with a sharp eye for detail.

You will be responsible for creating engaging, intuitive, and visually rich experiences that enhance how users interact with our brand across apps, web, and campaigns. Experience in building visual narratives from scratch and simplifying complex user journeys in consumer products or startups will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Conceptualize ideas by understanding product, user needs, and business context

Translate concepts into visual stories, storyboards, and illustrations

Design and deliver high-quality creative assets, brand visuals, and identity elements (logos, typography, color systems)

Create visuals for product experiences, marketing campaigns, and digital platforms

Collaborate closely with product, design, growth, and marketing teams

Ensure consistency across all touchpoints through strong visual systems and brand guidelines

Present concepts, iterate on feedback, and refine designs to achieve the best outcome

Continuously improve visual quality by reviewing outputs and suggesting enhancements

Stay updated with design trends, illustration styles, and storytelling approaches

Who Were Looking For:

Bachelors degree in graphic/illustrator design or a related field.

Minimum 1-3 years of successful professional design experience, preferably at a consumer startup product company, digital agency, or in-house design team for a product-driven business.

Experience with tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Procreate is a must; Figma and other design development tools are good to have.

Strong portfolio of design work, showing solutions to business problems through effective design.

Ability to present concepts and lead internal teams to the correct solution.

A strong eye for visual composition.

Deep knowledge of web/app/visual/illustration/art design processes.

Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.

Possession of creative flair, conceptual/visual ability, and originality, with a user system interaction mindset.

Up to date with the latest app, mobile, and web trends, techniques, and technologies, and how design is evolving.

Location: Goregaon West, Mumbai (Preference will be given to candidates residing in Mumbais Western suburbs).
