Oru Althouse Studio (#OAS) is a creative marketing and production studio. We are currently creating inhouse youtube contents and a series (season 1) of edit/spec showcase.

We're looking for a Video Editor who will be part of the team, and wants to grow into an informed editor(we have our own editing formula/framework). Whether you're experienced(preferred) or just one major video edit old, what matters most is your creativity, attitude, and willingness to learn + team ethics.

• Edit BTS clips
• Edit youTube or IG content
• Edit product videos and brand films (once we are sure you can do it)
• Add basic motion graphics and animations in After Effects
• Work closely with the creative team from concept to final delivery

• knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro/DR or other NLE
• Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects
• DaVinci Resolve is a bonus
• Understanding of pacing, storytelling, and music
• storyboard and script based edits (we have our own software for this - will give access)
• A portfolio with a few edited videos (personal projects are welcome)
• Willingness to learn and improve every day

• Photoshop or Illustrator
• Camera knowledge
• Experience creating story based content

You'll receive hands-on training in:

• shoot to edit
• editing workflows
• Creative thinking
• (if you are intermediate we will teach you as things go- but should have basic NLE knowledge)
