Job Description

About the Role

We're looking for a who can turn long Zoom recordings into videos people actually watch. You'll own Mindbowser's video output across YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and Facebook, edit our podcasts and webinars, cut shorts and reels, and use AI where it saves real time without making the work look generic. If you enjoy storytelling, healthcare and tech topics, and a bit of a thumbnail obsession, you'll fit right in.


Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Video Content Creation & Editing
  2. Edit podcast videos, short-form reels, and long-form content for multiple platforms
  3. Add motion graphics, subtitles, transitions, and sound design
  4. Optimize videos for YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and Facebook
  5. Create platform-specific cuts, carousels with motion, and highlight clips using AI tools to improve speed and quality
  6. Research & Script Writing
  7. Research trending topics in healthcare, AI, digital health, and technology
  8. Write engaging scripts for podcasts, reels, and thought leadership content
  9. Collaborate with marketing, SEO, design, PR, and leadership teams for content direction
  10. End-to-End Video Production
  11. Own the complete workflow: topic ideation, script writing, video editing, thumbnail and caption creation, publishing, and scheduling
  12. Plan and maintain a monthly and quarterly video calendar covering podcasts, webinars, case study clips, founder/expert POVs, event coverage, and PR moments
  13. Repurpose podcasts, webinars, blogs, case studies, and PR coverage into video-ready formats with AI-assisted workflows (auto-clipping, captioning, summarization)
  14. Produce video assets aligned to Mindbowser's healthcare and tech content topics, including pillar pages, sub-topics, podcast clips, testimonials, and case study videos
  15. YouTube Channel Ownership
  16. Own Mindbowser's YouTube channel end-to-end including publishing podcasts, webinar recordings, clips, highlights, and shorts
  17. Use AI tools to assist with video titles, descriptions, tags, summaries, chapters, thumbnails, and performance optimization
  18. Apply YouTube SEO best practices to grow watch time, retention, and subscribers
  19. Distribution & Engagement
  20. Produce video assets to promote PR announcements, media mentions, partnerships, awards, and company news
  21. Support promotion of webinars, events, reports, launches, and podcasts through video to drive reach and registrations
  22. Monitor comments, mentions, and DMs on video content and respond in a timely, brand-aligned manner
  23. Performance & Insights
  24. Track and report on watch time, retention, engagement, reach, subscriber growth, YouTube metrics, and assisted leads
  25. Use AI and analytics insights to spot video patterns, improve performance, and recommend next actions


Requirements

Must-have skills

  • 24 years of hands-on experience in video editing and video content creation, ideally for B2B brands
  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects
  • Strong understanding of YouTube SEO and LinkedIn content strategy
  • Experience in podcast editing and short-form video (Reels/Shorts)
  • Ability to write scripts and understand storytelling
  • Ability to manage structured video calendars and multiple deadlines


Good-to-have skills

  • Practical experience with AI tools for image and video generation like Nano Banana, NotebookLM, Gemini, Sora, Runway, Veo, Midjourney, or Pika
  • Practical experience with AI editing tools like Canva, Google Vids, Opus Clip, Descript, Submagic, or VEED for clipping, captioning, summarization, or performance analysis
  • Familiarity with YouTube Studio analytics and basic Google Analytics usage
  • Basic knowledge of healthcare or tech domain
  • Motion graphics and thumbnail design (Canva, Figma, or similar) beyond After Effects
  • Experience using video and social management tools like Zoho Social
  • Exposure to podcast production workflows (multi-cam editing, audio cleanup)
  • Familiarity with AI tools for voiceover, dubbing, or scheduling


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Media, Film, Journalism, Marketing, Design, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • A portfolio or showreel that proves the work, even if the degree doesn't quite match


Bonus: Certifications in video editing, YouTube, or AI tools
