Job Title: Verification Engineer Ethernet Protocol

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Verification Engineer with strong expertise in full-chip/block-level verification, Ethernet protocol, and coverage-driven methodologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in verification flow, scripting, and exposure to modern AI-assisted engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute end-to-end verification flow including test planning, environment setup, execution, debugging, and closure.
• Perform functional and code coverage analysis, ensuring coverage closure against defined metrics.
• Work extensively on Ethernet protocol verification (MAC/PCS/PHY layers preferred).
• Debug simulation failures, identify root causes, and drive issue resolution in collaboration with design teams.
• Develop and maintain scripts (TCL or similar) for automation, regression execution, and reporting.
• Contribute to testbench architecture enhancements and reusable verification components.
• Leverage AI tools / prompt engineering techniques (where applicable) to improve productivity and verification efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in ASIC/SoC verification.
• Strong understanding of full verification lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience in Ethernet protocol verification.
• Good exposure to code coverage tools and methodologies.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (TCL mandatory; Python/Perl is a plus).
• Experience with SystemVerilog and UVM methodology.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.

Good to Have:

• Exposure to AI Agents, LLM tools, or Prompt Engineering in engineering workflows.
• Experience with protocol checkers, VIPs, and assertion-based verification.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines in verification environments.

Educational Qualification:

• BE / BTech / MTech in Electronics / Electrical / VLSI or relevant field.
