Key Responsibilities

Good working knowledge on Veeam Backup Replication and Pure Storage platforms Flash Array Flash Blade
Provision and manage storage LUN volume file shares on Pure Storage arrays as per work request
Configure and maintain backup operations for VMware Hyper-V physical servers SQL Oracle and MongoDB across Windows and Linux
Configure new backup clients for file level application aware and database backups with multiple OS support
Experience with Veeam integration with Pure Storage snapshots for backup and recovery workflows
Knowledge of NFS CIFSSMB iSCSI and Fiber Channel SAN environments
Experience in configuring and troubleshooting Fiber Channel SAN fabric Brocade Cisco switches
Good knowledge of deduplication replication and snapshot based data protection concepts
Troubleshoot backup and storage failures categorize and prioritize recurring issues
Basic proficiency in Windows Linux and VMware ESXi operating systems
Strong foundational knowledge of Azure AWS cloud services and cloud storage options S3 EBS Azure Blob
Event management analyze alerts and logs from storage and backup infrastructure
Handle incidents create update and maintain Knowledge Base articles
Report on and manage storage and backup capacity
Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures SOPs
Plan and schedule for change management activities
Willingness to work in 247 shift model and provide on call support
