UX / Usability Testing Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a User Experience / Product Validation Specialist who thrives at the intersection of product thinking, user behavior, and experimentation.

This is NOT a traditional UI/UX design role instead, you will focus on validating product ideas, testing user workflows, and identifying usability gaps before development begins.

If you enjoy breaking down user journeys, testing concepts with real users, and influencing product decisions through insights this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and evaluate user journeys, workflows, and interaction flows for digital products
• Create low to mid-fidelity wireframes / prototypes for concept validation (not final UI design)
• Conduct usability testing, prototype testing, and concept validation sessions
• Identify friction points, usability issues, and workflow gaps early in the product lifecycle
• Translate business and product ideas into testable concepts and scenarios
• Collaborate with Product Managers & Engineering teams to validate feasibility
• Iterate on concepts based on user feedback, behavioral insights, and testing outcomes
• Provide clear, actionable recommendations to improve product usability and experience

Must-Have Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in UX validation, usability testing, product experimentation, or design research
• Hands-on experience in user journey mapping, workflows, and interaction design
• Strong expertise in wireframing & prototyping (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.)
• Proven experience in usability testing / concept validation with real users
• Ability to identify usability issues, friction points, and improve workflows based on insights
• Solid understanding of UX principles, information architecture & design thinking
• Ability to convert business requirements into intuitive, testable product flows

Good to Have

• Exposure to A/B testing, user research methods, or behavioral analysis
• Experience working in B2C, fintech, e-commerce, or product-driven companies
• Familiarity with design systems and experimentation frameworks

Important Note

This role is focused on product validation & usability testing.

It is not a visual UI/UX design role candidates focused purely on UI design may not be a fit.
