The role

First dedicated User Researcher at Slikk. Your scope is the end-to-end user experience - from discovery and checkout through to delivery, post-purchase, returns, and support. Wherever the customer shows up, you do too.

Hands-on, build-from-scratch. No legacy playbook. Day 1 is running interviews. Day 90 is having our research panel, repository & feedback loops in place - and research informing product and design decisions.


What you'll own

  • Primary research across the full user journey - discovery, shopping, checkout, delivery, post-purchase, returns, support. Strong qualitative leanings.
  • Research ops - customer panel, tooling, cadence, insights repository. Build from zero.
  • Feedback loops - framing paths and synthesising user signals from the app/site, customer support, app reviews, and ORM into themes & actionable insights.
  • Customer care & ORM interfacing - daily ownership of inbound feedback.
  • Comms partnership - working with growth and marketing so user comms are grounded in evidence.


What we're looking for

  • 1-2 years at a UX or design agency (or Market Research Agencies) Agency background is a must. You've seen research done properly and bring that bar with you.
  • Strong qualitative toolkit - interviews, usability testing, diary studies, JTBD. Quant basics and comfort with user clickstream data & segmentation is a plus.
  • Self-starter. Comfortable building systems while shipping quick studies & 1-pagers.
  • Hustler's temperament. You thrive in ambiguity and speed - with an eye for long-term foundational work. (Time split - 40% long term, 60% short term for the first 6 months)
  • Strong communicator. Insights land because you tell the story well.


Reporting & growth path

  • Reports directly into the Head of Product, Storefront.
  • Clear path to grow within the User Research function as the team scales.
