Job Description

We are looking for a high-ownership growth lead to build and scale Scapias referral-led user acquisition engine for the credit card business. This role will own end-to-end performance across referral programs, community-led growth initiatives, influencer partnerships, affiliate networks, and user advocacy programs.

You will be responsible for driving high-quality customer acquisition through scalable referral and engagement channels, building strong creator/community ecosystems, and continuously improving program performance across on-app and off-app channels.


Key Responsibilities :

1. Referral Strategy & Program Ownership


  • Own the end-to-end referral growth strategy across: On-app & Off-app referral programs
  • Affiliate and advocacy-led acquisition
  • Community-driven user growth initiatives
  • Design and optimize referral mechanics, incentive structures, and engagement loops
  • Continuously improve referral contribution, conversion rates, activation, and retention metrics
  • Identify new growth opportunities across user segments, channels, and partnerships


2. Community & User Advocacy Programs

  • Build and scale community-led acquisition and engagement programs
  • Identify and nurture power users, ambassadors, and advocates
  • Create engagement frameworks to drive repeat referrals and organic word-of-mouth growth
  • Design gamification and recognition programs to improve participation and loyalty
  • Drive initiatives that strengthen user affinity and long-term engagement


3. Influencer & Affiliate Partnerships

  • Build and manage influencer, affiliate, and creator-led acquisition programs
  • Identify and onboard high-potential influencers and growth partners
  • Design scalable partnership and incentive models
  • Collaborate with creators and affiliates on campaigns and user acquisition initiatives
  • Track channel performance, ROI, and acquisition quality across partnerships


4. Execution & Performance Management

  • Own end-to-end referral funnel performance:
  • Referral generation application approval activation
  • Track KPIs such as:
  • Referral contribution to acquisition
  • Cost per acquisition (CPA)
  • Referral conversion and activation rates
  • Influencer / affiliate ROI
  • Community engagement metrics
  • Channel-wise productivity and scalability
  • Build reporting dashboards and performance review mechanisms
  • Run experiments and optimization initiatives to improve growth efficiency


5. Program Operations & Governance

  • Ensure operational excellence across referral and partnership programs
  • Define program rules, incentive governance, and abuse prevention mechanisms
  • Work closely with CRM and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and user communication
  • Monitor sourcing quality and program compliance
  • Drive process improvements and automation opportunities

6. Cross-functional Collaboration

Work closely with:

  • Marketing teams for campaigns, promotions, and amplification
  • Product & Growth teams to improve referral journeys and UX
  • CRM teams for lifecycle communication and engagement
  • Analytics teams for tracking, experimentation, and insights
  • Operations teams for execution and fulfillment


Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience

  • 46 years of experience in growth, referral programs, community growth, partnerships, or user acquisition
  • Prior experience in consumer internet, fintech, credit cards, lending, or high-growth startups preferred
  • Hands-on experience managing:
  • Referral or affiliate programs
  • Influencer / creator partnerships
  • Community or advocacy-led growth initiatives
  • Cross-functional growth programs
  • Skills & Competencies
  • Strong understanding of referral mechanics, growth loops, and incentive design
  • Experience scaling user acquisition programs through partnerships and communities
  • Data-driven approach to experimentation and decision-making
  • Strong stakeholder and partner management skills
  • High ownership with strong execution capabilities
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced and ambiguous environments
  • Strong communication and program management skills
