User Experience Engineer

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced UX professional with strong expertise in Human Machine Interface (HMI) design for industrial or heavy equipment systems. The ideal candidate should be capable of owning end-to-end UX execution, working closely with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality, detail-oriented design solutions with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end UX design for HMI systems, from requirement understanding to final delivery
• Collaborate with product managers, embedded engineers, and mechanical teams to translate complex requirements into intuitive user experiences
• Conduct user research, workflow analysis, and usability testing to improve operator efficiency and safety
• Design interaction models, task flows, and high-fidelity UI screens with strong attention to detail
• Ensure design quality (Design QA), including handling edge cases, error states, and system feedback
• Take ownership of features/modules, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
• Work independently with minimal handholding in a fast-paced environment

Required Skills & Expertise:

• Strong experience in HMI / Industrial UX / Embedded UI design
• Proven ability in end-to-end UX ownership and requirement understanding
• Excellent attention to detail and execution capability
• Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams
• Proficiency in tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.
• Strong understanding of usability principles, interaction design, and human factors engineering

Preferred Background:

• Experience in Automotive / Heavy Equipment / Industrial domain
• Exposure to operator interfaces, control systems, dashboards
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and usability testing
