We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive US Taxation Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of US tax laws, compliance requirements, and hands-on experience in preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals and businesses.

• Prepare and review US federal and state tax returns (Form 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, etc.)
• Assist in tax planning and compliance for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
• Analyze financial statements and supporting documents for tax filings
• Ensure compliance with IRS regulations and deadlines
• Conduct tax research and stay updated on changes in US tax laws
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client queries and optimize tax outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and working papers
• Support audits, notices, and client communications when required
  

• Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 14 years of experience in US taxation (public accounting/KPO/CA firms preferred)
• Strong understanding of US tax codes and filing requirements
• Hands-on experience with tax software (e.g., Drake, ProSeries, UltraTax, etc.)
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and attention to detail
  

• CPA (US) / Enrolled Agent (EA) / pursuing certification
• Experience working with international clients or offshore teams
• Exposure to tax planning and advisory work
