Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Urban Planner with experience in infrastructure and master planning projects. The role involves developing planning solutions, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks for large-scale developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare master plans, land use plans, zoning plans, and urban design concepts for infrastructure projects
- Conduct feasibility studies, site analysis, and development planning
- Coordinate with clients, government authorities, and stakeholders for project approvals and alignment
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and requirement discussions
- Ensure compliance with local planning regulations, development control norms, and statutory guidelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (transport, environmental, utilities, and design teams)
- Support project delivery, documentation, and reporting within defined timelines
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong client coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Expertise in urban planning, infrastructure planning, and development regulations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS (ArcGIS/QGIS), and MS Office tools
- Knowledge of sustainable urban development, smart city concepts, and transit-oriented development (TOD)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Urban Planning / Urban Design / Regional Planning
- Experience working with consulting firms or infrastructure projects
