Position: Unit Manager Micro LAP (Loan Against Property)

Qualification - Graduate

Experience - 2+ Years

Location: Mumbai

Reporting To: Regional Manager

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

• Develop and execute strategies to achieve Micro LAP business targets.
• Identify and acquire new customers in the assigned geography through field marketing and relationship-building activities.
• Drive monthly and quarterly loan disbursement targets.

Collections & Portfolio Management

• Ensure timely collection of EMIs and maintain a healthy loan portfolio.
• Improve bucket-wise collection efficiency and minimize delinquency.
• Coordinate with the collections team to recover overdue accounts.
• Conduct regular portfolio reviews and proactively identify and mitigate risks.

Team Management

• Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of Relationship Officers and Sales Managers.
• Monitor team performance and ensure achievement of business targets.
• Motivate the team to maintain high productivity and excellent customer service standards.

Credit & Risk Management

• Coordinate with the Credit team for timely loan approvals.
• Ensure proper documentation, due diligence, and compliance with credit policies.
• Minimize operational and credit risks through effective monitoring.

Market Analysis & Business Strategy

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
• Share market insights to improve products, pricing, and business strategies.

Operations & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain accurate MIS reports and provide timely updates to management.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Loan Against Property (LAP) products and lending processes.
• Expertise in sales, collections, portfolio management, and credit assessment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical, customer relationship, and team management abilities.
