Your work profile Seeking an experienced QA Engineer with strong expertise in Automation to lead automation strategy, manage QA teams, and drive automation adoption across projects. The role involves overseeing test automation frameworks, ensuring high test coverage, and aligning QA processes with business and delivery goals. Seeking aSenior SDET with 13+ years of experience, strong expertise inJava-based API automation,API development fundamentals, and hands-on testing ofmicroservices in retail banking environments. Experience inTest ManagementandTest Strategywill be considered a strong advantage. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintainAPI and microservices automation frameworksusing Java. TestJava-based APIs, microservices, core banking services, payment flows, and backend systems. Validate endtoend service interactions, system integrations, and customer journeys. Integrate automation suites intoCI/CD pipelines(Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Leadroot cause analysis (RCA), participate in defect triage, and enhance overall quality governance. Collaborate with backend, payments, cloud, and product teams to ensure highquality releases. Contribute to and review Test Strategy, Test Planning, and Test Management activities. Key skills required: 13+ yearsof SDET / QA Automation experience. Strong programming skills inJava(mandatory). Hands-on experience withAPI automationusing: REST Assured Postman/Newman Karate (optional but preferred) Experience intesting Java-based APIs and microservices. Strong understanding of: Service contracts Mocking/stubbing JSON/XML validation API schema validation Integration testing patterns Solid exposure toRetail Bankingprocesses: accounts, cards, payments, onboarding, transactions. CI/CD experience withJenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle. Strong experience with Linux, log analysis, and debugging backend flows. Knowledge ofAPI development fundamentals(endpoints, status codes, payload structures, auth). Education Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
