Learn more about: Customer Your work profile We are looking for a highly experienced Principal FullStack Software Engineer (P4) to lead the design, development, and evolution of enterprise-scale AIadjacent platforms at RTX. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in building secure, scalable, and cloudnative systems, with the ability to influence longterm platform architecture, mentor engineering teams, and drive innovation while navigating complex operational and regulatory environments. This role spans fullstack engineering, cloud architecture, API platform development, and technical leadership across distributed teams. Key Responsibilities Lead the architecture, design, and long-term evolution of enterprise-scale fullstack platforms and shared services. Own and advance critical platform components, including API platforms, edge services, and developer tooling. Define and champion engineering, DevOps, security, and automation standards across teams. Drive cloudnative architectures and solution designs on AWS and Azure. Establish scalable patterns for CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and observability. Guide integration of AI-enabled capabilities into enterprise platforms (e.g., LLM services, governance, monitoring). Collaborate with product, security, and architecture leaders to ensure platform alignment with business and compliance goals. Provide mentorship and technical leadership to senior engineers in India and the US. Enable rapid experimentation while ensuring reliability, compliance, and operational excellence. Desired Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field with 7+ years of professional engineering experience (or 5+ years with an advanced degree). Proven track record designing and delivering enterprisescale fullstack systems. Deep expertise in modern frontend frameworks and backend service architectures. Strong handson experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud architectures. Demonstrated ability to design scalable APIs, shared platform services, and developer platforms. Strong background in DevOps, CI/CD automation, and infrastructure-as-code. Ability to operate effectively within securityconscious, compliancedriven environments.
