Trainee/Junior Service Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and technically inclined Trainee / Junior Service Engineer to join our team in the healthcare technology and hospital infrastructure domain. The role involves supporting installation, configuration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of medical equipment and healthcare infrastructure systems across hospitals and healthcare facilities.

The ideal candidate should have a strong willingness to learn, good technical aptitude, and the ability to work in field-based healthcare environments. The candidate will work closely with senior engineers and technical teams to ensure smooth functioning and timely support for customer systems.

Responsibilities:

Assist in installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of healthcare equipment and infrastructure systems

Support preventive maintenance and breakdown service activities at customer sites

Troubleshoot basic electrical, electronic, networking, and mechanical issues

Coordinate with senior engineers for technical issue resolution and escalation support

Maintain service reports, maintenance logs, and documentation of all field activities

Respond to customer service requests and support timely closure of complaints

Assist in spare parts tracking and coordination with internal teams and manufacturers

Support customer training and basic operational guidance when required

Follow company SOPs, safety standards, and reporting processes

Learn product applications, technical configurations, and service procedures across different product lines

Stay updated with new technologies and healthcare infrastructure solutions

Qualifications:

Diploma / Bachelors degree in Biomedical, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, IT, or related engineering field

03 years of experience in healthcare technology, biomedical equipment, hospital infrastructure, or technical service role

Freshers with strong technical aptitude are encouraged to apply

Basic understanding of electrical, electronics, networking, and troubleshooting concepts

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Willingness to travel extensively for site visits and service support

Eagerness to learn and grow in the healthcare technology industry

Preferred Skills:

Basic networking and IT troubleshooting knowledge

Hands-on technical approach and field readiness

AutoCAD knowledge will be an added advantage

Customer handling and communication skills

Ability to understand technical manuals and diagrams

MS Excel and reporting knowledge
