HDSL is building an AI-native Drone-as-a-Service (DaaS) operating platform, transforming how drone operations are delivered across the industries.

We are not building a traditional software app. We are engineering a highly scalable, real-time operational ecosystem combining Flutter mobile apps, FastAPI microservices, AI copilots, and geospatial intelligence.

We are looking for a highly curious, deeply technical, automation-first QA/Test Engineer who loves breaking complex systems intelligently. You won't just follow checklists; you will own product quality end-to-end and validate complex workflows across mobile apps, APIs, AI systems, and production-scale infrastructure under real-world conditions (e.g., low network environments, concurrent marketplace spikes).

• End-to-End Platform Testing: Validate multi-role marketplace journeys (Booking Assignment Execution Escrow/Payment settlement).
• Mobile & Backend Validation: Drive cross-platform testing for Flutter mobile apps (offline-first behaviors) and FastAPI backend architectures (async workflows, RBAC security, and API contracts).
• AI Workflow Validation: Test AI advisory flows, prompt-output consistency, failure modes, and human-in-the-loop systems.
• Performance & Geospatial Testing: Simulate high-latency environments, run stress/load testing, and verify location/mapping accuracy.
• QA Automation: Build reusable testing frameworks, automate API/regression pipelines, and integrate QA into our CI/CD workflows.

• Frontend/Backend: Flutter, FastAPI, REST APIs, WebSockets
• Data & Cloud: PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker
• Testing & Automation: Postman, Pytest, Locust / k6 / JMeter, GitHub Actions

What We Are Looking For:

• The Blueprint: Strong software QA principles with proven experience testing mobile and async API environments.
• AI-Assisted Efficiency: You know how to use AI tools intelligently (not blindly) to generate test cases, analyze logs, and accelerate debugging.
• The Startup Mindset: You thrive in ambiguity, take absolute ownership, and think beyond the "happy path."

What Might Not Be a Fit:

• Strictly manual testing experience without an automation mindset.
• Heavy reliance on rigid checklists without a holistic systems-thinking approach.

• 2 weeks: Master the HDSL architecture, execute exploratory testing on critical workflow gaps, and lay down the initial QA strategy.
• 4 weeks: Build automation coverage for core workflows, establish performance/load testing benchmarks, and noticeably reduce recurring defects.
• 8 weeks: Own end-to-end QA operations, seamlessly integrate automated QA into the CI/CD pipeline, and champion a high-standard engineering quality culture.
