Sr. Test Architect (Digital & Mobility)

Are you a seasoned QA/Test Architect with deep experience in large-scale Government IT programs and end-to-end quality ownership? We are looking for a senior leader who can drive testing strategy, program execution, and automation transformation across complex digital ecosystems.

Role Overview

• Designation: Test Architect
• Experience: 1725 years in Software Testing
• Domain Focus: Government / Public Sector Programs
• Engagement Type: Program & Enterprise-level Quality Leadership

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive overall test strategy for Digital & Mobility platforms, covering:
• Functional Testing
• System Integration Testing (SIT)
• Data Migration Testing
• Automation, API, and Performance Testing
• Lead multi-workstream programs with complex dependencies and large teams
• Drive demand management, capacity planning, and conflict resolution across programs
• Prepare end-to-end effort estimates for upcoming projects ensuring feasibility and accuracy
• Manage project planning, scheduling, and execution across Agile, Waterfall, and Iterative models
• Ensure integrity of testing, validation, and acceptance activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and governance across QA teams

Technical & Tool Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with Test & Defect Management tools:
• JIRA, HP ALM, Bugzilla (or similar)
• Proven experience in automation strategy and CI/CD pipelines, using:
• Selenium, Cucumber
• REST / RESTful Services
• Appium
• Jenkins
• Solid understanding of modern DevOps and continuous testing practices

Mandatory Experience

• 17+ years overall experience in Software Testing
• 5+ years of testing experience on Government / Public Sector IT projects
• Strong understanding of program-level QA governance

Educational Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech / MCA in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• ISTQB / CSTE or equivalent certification is mandatory
