Your work profile This is anSDET role, so hands-on coding ability and strong problem-solving skills are essential. Simply knowing automation frameworks, tools, or technologiessuch as Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress, Robot Framework, or Playwright isnot sufficient. Candidates will be evaluated based on theircoding and logical skills and will be required to solvecoding challengesduring the technical rounds. Key skills required 6-9 years of experience SDET: Cypress+ JavaScript/TypeScript Automation 1. Automation Expertise (Mandatory) Proficient in Cypress using JavaScript (Node.js)/ TypeScript for end-to-end web application testing. Strong experience in API test automation through code (not Postman), leveraging Cypress/ Rest Assured for deeper integration and control. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable test scripts, suitable for SDET roles requiring hands-on coding is mandatory 2. Technical Proficiency (Mandatory) Solid programming skills in JavaScript/ TypeScript. Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and version control systems for seamless integration and deployment. Experience in DevOps environments, including: Working with Docker images Configuring GitLab CI/CD Writing and managing YAML files Familiarity with test management tools like IBM Jazz, Quality Center, JIRA or similar platforms. 3. Quality & Process Orientation (Mandatory) Excellent communication and analytical skills for effective collaboration and problem-solving. Proven experience in testing web-based applications across diverse domains. Strong grasp of Agile methodologies and modern software testing practices, contributing to iterative development and continuous improvement. 4. Additional Skills (Nice to Have) Experience with NFR (Non-Functional Requirements) testing using tools like: K6 , Sitespeed.io Qualification: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
