Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Utilities Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) Functional Designer with strong expertise in Front Office business processes. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to analyze requirements, design functional solutions, and support implementation for Oracle Utilities CC&B applications.
The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of utility customer operations, billing lifecycle, customer service processes, and Oracle Utilities CC&B functionalities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Gather and analyze business requirements from utility business stakeholders.
Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDD), business process flows, and requirement specifications.
Design and configure Oracle Utilities CC&B Front Office functionalities.
Work on Customer Management, Move-In/Move-Out, Service Agreements, Billing, Payments, Collections, and Customer Service Requests.
Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend optimal CC&B solutions.
Coordinate with technical/development teams for customizations and integrations.
Support SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and production deployment activities.
Provide functional support during implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects.
Collaborate with integration teams for interfaces with MDM, CRM, Payment Systems, and other utility applications.
Participate in workshops, requirement discussions, and stakeholder meetings.
Support production incidents and provide functional troubleshooting.
Ensure adherence to Oracle Utilities best practices and standards.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Strong experience in Oracle Utilities CC&B Functional Design.
Expertise in Front Office modules and customer service processes.
Good understanding of Meter-to-Cash lifecycle.
Experience in: Customer Management, Billing & Payments , Service Agreements , Credit & Collections , Meter Reads & Usage & Move-In / Move-Out processes
Knowledge of Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).
Experience in requirement gathering, solution design, and business process mapping.
Hands-on experience in SIT/UAT support and defect management.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Knowledge of utility domain processes.
Experience with Oracle Utilities MDM/C2M integrations.
Exposure to Agile delivery methodology.
Knowledge of SQL/PLSQL.
Experience in cloud or on-prem Oracle Utilities implementations.
Prior utility industry experience preferred
Additional Information:
5+ Years in Oracle Utilities with experience in Oracle Utilities CC&B Functional Designer – Front Office.
This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
