Technology Lead – MLOps Engineer (Machine Learning)

Infosys is looking for a Technology Lead MLOps Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and operationalization of enterprisescale machine learning solutions on Microsoft Azure.

This role blends handson MLOps engineering, technical leadership, and client consulting, working closely with Data Scientists, business stakeholders, and cloud teamsparticularly within Retail, CPG, and Supply Chain domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead MLOps implementation and support for production ML systems
• Design and manage endtoend ML pipelines from model development to deployment
• Operationalize ML models built by Data Scientists on Azure ML
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for ML using Azure DevOps Implement model monitoring, versioning, SLA/KPI adherence
• Guide teams on coding standards, debugging, and pipeline failures
• Define Azure architecture including Azure ML, Databricks, DevOps
• Engage with clients and stakeholders for requirements, status updates, and issue resolution
• Drive automation, process improvements, and MLOps best practices

Required Skills

• Strong handson experience in MLOps / Machine Learning Operations
• Strong experience as an MLOps Engineer / Machine Learning Engineer
• Expert Python programming (5+ years)
• Handson experience with Azure ML, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps
• Strong understanding of ML model deployment and operationalization
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and ML pipelines
• Knowledge of containerization and cloud infrastructure
• Familiarity with model monitoring, alerts, and performance metrics
• Agile delivery experience with JIRA

Preferred Skills

• Domain experience in Retail, CPG, Supply Chain, or Food Industry
• Experience with MLflow, eventdriven orchestration, online model deployment
• Exposure to TestDriven Development (PyTest), Git, REST APIs
• Azure certifications: DP100, AZ900, AI900
• Experience working with US or overseas clients
• Ability to lead small teams and mentor junior engineers
• Strong documentation and presentation skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
