Technology - Analyst - Veeva Network Developer

Job Description

Role Summary:

As a Veeva Network Developer, the candidate will be responsible for configuring and maintaining Master Data Management (MDM) solutions within the Veeva Network platform. The developer will work on low to medium complexity tasks related to healthcare data (HCP/HCO), data quality, and system integrations. The role involves close collaboration with senior developers, project leads, and business stakeholders to support ongoing development, data stewardship, and implementation activities.

Essential Functions:

Implement Veeva Network Projects:

• Assist in configuration and maintenance of Veeva Network data model including HCPs, HCOs, affiliations, and hierarchies
• Support implementation and optimization of match/merge and survivorship rules
• Configure and support data change request (DCR) workflows and data stewardship processes
• Assist in implementing data quality rules, validations, and monitoring frameworks
• Support affiliation management and hierarchy maintenance activities
• Participate in system configuration, testing, and issue resolution
• Write clear documentation for configurations, processes, and workflows
• Follow team practices including version control, release management, and Agile methodologies
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables under guidance
• Provide regular status updates and support issue resolution and SLA tracking
• Support UAT cycles, stakeholder training sessions, and onboarding activities
• Act as a developing SME for Veeva Network capabilities and processes

Feasibility and ad hoc analysis:

• Work on feasibility analysis related to data models, integrations, and data quality processes
• Support ad hoc data analysis using SQL and other tools as required by stakeholders

Contribute to the Centre of Excellence (CoE):

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build PoCs and reusable solutions within Veeva Network and MDM space
• Contribute to development of best practices, accelerators, and capability building initiatives

Collaboration & Communication:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, data stewards, business analysts, QA, and project managers)
• Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Veeva configurations
• Participate in workshops, design discussions, and solution walkthroughs
• Communicate progress, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders
• Actively participate in team meetings and document key discussions The roles and responsibilities will continuously evolve basis the project allocation and client requirements.

Additional Functions:

• Invest time in continuous self-learning to keep the technology and domain skills relevant and at par with the latest technology/methodologies within the BI industry
• Present/publish learnings/case studies from the projects/R&D within/outside of the organization for outreach

Candidates Profile Essential Qualifications:

B-Tech. or B.E. in any engineering discipline or PG in Statistics/ Mathematics/ Operation Research or B.Sc. in Computer Science or a similar course.

Experience:

1-3 years of experience in Master Data Management, data warehousing, or analytics projects with exposure to:

Veeva Network (preferred)

SQL and data analysis

APIs, ETL tools, or data integration concepts

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities & Key Traits:

• Basic understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts
• Knowledge of HCP/HCO data models, affiliations, and hierarchies (preferred)
• Familiarity with match/merge logic and data quality processes Understanding of integrations (APIs, ETL pipelines) Knowledge of pharma datasets and Veeva CRM ecosystem (preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Proactive, flexible, and willingness to learn new technologies
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing requirements

Good to Have:

• Exposure to Veeva CRM and downstream analytics systems
• Understanding of alignment concepts (Account Territory Loader)
• Veeva Network certification
