JOB DESCRIPTION

The incumbent will support the organizations site maintenance and technical service operations under the Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract (CAMC) by ensuring the smooth functioning of access control and gate security systems installed at the client site. He will perform routine testing, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of security equipment, coordinate with client representatives for service activities, and maintain proper records of maintenance tasks to ensure system reliability and operational continuity.

SITE LOCATION

Kabul, Afghanistan. The incumbent will be required to be stationed at the client site in Kabul and provide on-site technical service, maintenance, and operational support for installed security and access control systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maintain and service access control and gate security systems installed at site under CAMC contract terms.
2. Perform daily inspection, testing, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of installed security equipment.
3. Ensure proper functioning and uptime of systems including Flap Barriers, DFMD, XBIS, Bollards, Tyre Killers, UVSS, Boom Barriers, Access Control Readers, Baggage Scanners, and Gate Management Systems (GMS).
4. Respond to service calls, diagnose faults, and carry out necessary repairs within defined service timelines.
5. Coordinate with client representatives for routine maintenance schedules, breakdown support, and system performance updates.
6. Maintain service logs, inspection reports, and maintenance records as required under CAMC agreements.
7. Work in rotational shifts to ensure uninterrupted technical support and operational readiness of security systems.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

1. Diploma in Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation or equivalent technical discipline.
2. Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in servicing access control systems and gate security gadgets.
3. Hands-on exposure to systems such as Flap Barriers, DFMD, XBIS, UVSS, Boom Barriers, Bollards, Tyre Killers, Access Readers, Baggage Scanners, and Gate Management Systems.
4. Good troubleshooting ability with basic understanding of electronic security systems and field service operations.
5. Strong interpersonal skills including communication, empathy, conflict resolution, and active listening.
6. Positive attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
