Technical Writer

We are looking for Technical Writer- Offshore Location

Hybrid work environment hence candidate should be local to Gurgaon, India Preferred

5 working days.

Job overview and responsibilities

• Provides administrative and transactional support for authoring and editing of manuals and/or maintenance task cards used to accomplish scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
• Collect source documents, revise and maintain library requirements for technical manuals, company manuals, or task cards according to approved change request documents and internal standard procedures.
• Initiates basic technical document changes in accordance with United Airlines policy
• Perform peer-to-peer reviews and routine audits to ensure compliance to company and regulatory standards.
• Interfaces with Maintenance Programs facilitating effective communication to manage workload in accordance with business requirements
• Audits technical documents for compliance and accuracy
• Supports creation of technical documents to perform aircraft maintenance
• Administrative support of technical document applications/software
• Engages in training and skill development, including relationship building

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in a related technical field

• 5 + years of professional experience required with ability to quickly grasp new concepts and work functions
• Hands-On Experience of S1000D and/or Spec2000, Boeing Toolbox, MS SQL Server, and Adobe Acrobat
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
• Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
• Must be fluent in English and Hindi (written and spoken)
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
