Job Title: Technical Writer SOP & Documentation

Location: Navi Mumbai

Experience: Minimum 2 Years

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Preferred

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer with strong hands-on expertise in Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) writing and document troubleshooting. The role requires close collaboration with technical, operations, and compliance teams to create, review, standardize, and maintain high-quality documentation.

Key Responsibilities

SOP & Technical Documentation

  • Create, review, and maintain SOPs, process documents, work instructions, and policy documents.
  • Translate complex technical and operational processes into clear, structured, and user-friendly documentation.
  • Ensure documentation aligns with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and audit expectations.
  • Maintain version control, document lifecycle management, and approval workflows.

Document Troubleshooting & Review

  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or errors in existing documents and troubleshoot documentation issues.
  • Update obsolete or unclear SOPs based on process changes, audit feedback, or stakeholder inputs.
  • Ensure accuracy, clarity, completeness, and consistency across all documentation artifacts.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with SMEs, IT, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Quality teams to gather inputs.
  • Conduct walkthroughs and interviews to understand processes before documentation.
  • Support internal audits, process reviews, and compliance assessments through accurate documentation.

Documentation Governance

  • Establish documentation templates, style guides, and naming conventions.
  • Ensure documents are stored, indexed, and retrievable as per organizational standards.
  • Support knowledge management and process standardization initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Technical Writer with strong SOP writing exposure.
  • Proven experience in document troubleshooting, revision, and standardization.
  • Excellent written English with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand technical and operational workflows quickly.
  • Experience working with documentation tools such as MS Word, SharePoint, Confluence, or similar.
  • Familiarity with compliance-driven documentation (ISO, ISMS, IT processes, operations) is a plus.
