Roles & Responsibilities:

Related Experience. You have 4+ years of experience writing and publishing technical documentation, especially complex, interconnected sets of documents and a proven record of tracking down and verifying information from subject matter experts to deliver content on agreed-upon deadlines.

Tools and associated craft. You should have experience with industry-standard tools for content creation, management and publishing, including XML editors and content management applications powered by DITA architecture. Exposure to documenting APIs, SDKs and other development-driven sources as well as familiarity with the concepts and practice of structured writing, single-sourcing and minimalist writing is required.

Investigative attitude. With your proven work experience, you have developed sound investigative skills. You apply them to understand the audience's needs and provide the information most important to them.

Natural collaborator. You not only create content for developers, administrators, business users, casual users, and internal Conga audiences, but also collaborate effectively with teams across the company, such as Product Management, Release Management, Developers, QA, Professional Services, Sales Engineering, and Tech Support. You are proficient at translating verbal and written technical requirements from these stakeholders into documentation and assisting engineers, UX designers and others in drafting user-facing content, such as UI text and error messages.

Education. Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent.
