Our company Navora under the aegis of Maritimesolutionsltd is hiring Technical Superintendent for their client which is a Global Leader in Vessel Management. They Offer full-spectrum maritime solutions with precision-driven services, leveraging technical excellence and a wide product portfolio to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer experience. Overview We are looking for a hands-on Technical Superintendent to lead the safe, reliable, and cost-effective management of oil/product tanker fleet. This shore-based role is the critical link between ship and shore ensuring vessels are always seaworthy, compliant, and operating at peak performance.

What will you do?

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for assigned vessels, supporting Masters and Chief Engineers.
• Oversee day-to-day technical and operational maters: maintenance, repairs, spares, stores, surveys, and inspections.
• Drive PMS compliance to keep machinery in top condition and vessels incident-free.
• Ensure all certifications and class requirements are up to date.
• Plan and supervise dry docking, surveys, and repairs, including budget control and post-docking reports.
• Conduct vessel performance analysis and advise on fuel and lube oil trends.
• Manage operating costs within budget without compromising safety.
• Lead incident/accident investigations, implement preventive measures, and closeout risk assessments.
• Initiate and oversee Management of Change (MOC) for vessel modifications and new installations.
• Collaborate closely with owners, charterers, surveyors, contractors, and internal teams.

The must haves

• MEO Class I
• Should have sailed as a Chief Engineer.
• Minimum 1 year experience as Technical Superintendent in Shore.
• Experience in oil tankers
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office & reporting systems
