Company Description RTAV is a value-added manufacturer representative company specializing in world-class audio-visual (AV) and broadcast products. The company focuses on the India and SAARC markets, partnering with leading global brands to bring advanced technology solutions to customers.


RTAV provides consultative support, solution design, and local expertise to integration partners, resellers, and end users. Team members work closely with both manufacturers and clients to align technical capabilities with real-world application needs.


Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical Sales Engineer role based in Navi Mumbai. The Technical Sales Engineer will work closely with customers, system integrators, and internal teams to understand requirements, design AV and broadcast solutions, and present product demonstrations.


Daily responsibilities include responding to technical inquiries, preparing proposals, generating bills of materials, and supporting the sales cycle from lead qualification to closure. The role also involves conducting product trainings, providing pre-sales and basic post-sales technical support, coordinating with manufacturers on complex technical issues, and maintaining accurate records in CRM tools.


The Technical Sales Engineer will regularly visit customer sites, participate in events or demos, and gather market feedback to help refine RTAVs solutions and positioning.


Qualifications

  • Strong Technical Sales and Sales skills, with experience managing a sales pipeline and meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Sound Engineer could be an added advantage
  • Candidate from CCTV Industry, Telecom Industry, Industrial Automation welcome.
  • Hands-on Sales Engineering and Technical Support abilities, including solution design, demonstrations, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent Communication skills for explaining technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with AV and/or broadcast systems (e.g., signal distribution, control systems, audio processing, video workflows) is highly preferred.
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Comfort working on-site at customer locations, with the ability to travel within Navi Mumbai and occasionally across India or SAARC as needed.
  • Proficiency with common office and presentation tools; experience with CRM software is an advantage.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
