Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Project Manager (TPM) with strong expertise in .NET Core and SQL Server, who can own end-to-end delivery while actively contributing to technical design, code quality, and execution.

This is not a coordination role the ideal candidate will drive execution, challenge teams, and ensure delivery outcomes in a fast-paced product environment.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Ownership

Own end-to-end project delivery with full accountability

Drive on-time, high-quality releases with minimal defects

Track planned vs actual progress, ensuring predictability

Sprint & Execution Management

Plan and manage Agile sprints (JIRA / Azure DevOps)

Break down requirements into clear, actionable tasks

Identify risks, bottlenecks, and ensure timely resolution

Challenge estimates and ensure realistic planning

Technical Contribution

Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

Participate in architecture discussions and system design

Perform code reviews and enforce best practices

Optimize SQL queries and overall system performance

Stakeholder & Team Management

Provide clear visibility on delivery status and risks

Work closely with developers to ensure actual progress (not just updates)

Enforce accountability and execution discipline

Must-Have Skills

Strong hands-on experience in .NET Core (Web API / MVC)

Advanced expertise in SQL Server (query optimization, indexing, performance tuning)

Experience with REST APIs and Microservices architecture

Solid understanding of system design and scalable architecture

Hands-on experience with Agile tools (Azure DevOps / JIRA)

Ability to evaluate technical complexity vs effort and challenge incorrect estimations

Experience Requirements

610 years in software development

Minimum 3+ years as Technical Project Manager / Tech Lead

Proven experience in owning delivery outcomes

Experience in SaaS / product-based environments preferred

Good to Have

Domain experience in Procurement / Sourcing / P2P / S2P systems

Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure / AWS)

PMP certification or equivalent
