Technical Project Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with a strong foundation in software engineering or QA, who has transitioned into managing complex technology programs over the last few years. The role requires a balance of technical depth, delivery ownership, and cross-functional leadership in a product or platform environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end delivery of complex technology programs/projects across multiple teams
• Collaborate closely with engineering, QA, product, and business stakeholders
• Participate in technical discussions (architecture, APIs, integrations) and guide execution
• Own project/program planning, timelines, risk management, and delivery governance
• Manage cross-team dependencies and ensure alignment with business goals
• Track KPIs, milestones, and proactively mitigate delivery risks
• Drive continuous improvements in delivery efficiency, quality, and release processes

Required Skills & Experience

• 1315 years of professional experience
• Strong technical foundation with prior experience as: Software Engineer / Developer OR QA Engineer / Test Engineer Transitioned into Technical Project Manager / Program Manager / TPM role for at least 35 years

Strong understanding of:

• SDLC, Agile/Waterfall methodologies
• APIs, integrations, and system architecture basics
• Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and complex deliveries
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to Banking / Fintech / Payments / Lending / Enterprise product environments
• Experience with tools like MS Project / JIRA / Confluence
• Experience handling multi-team or multi-project programs
• Ability to contribute to technical decision-making and solution discussions

What Were NOT Looking For

• Pure Scrum Masters / Agile Coaches without delivery ownership
• Non-technical Project Managers
• Profiles without prior engineering or QA background
