About the Role

As a Technical Project Manager, you will take ownership of end-to-end delivery of complex software projects, with a strong emphasis on technical understanding, execution discipline, and client communication. You will work closely with architects, developers, and DevOps teams while acting as the primary interface for clients, ensuring clarity in requirements, alignment in execution, and predictability in delivery. This role is ideal for someone who combines project management rigor with strong technical depth and can confidently navigate discussions across both business and engineering stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Project & Delivery Management

• Own end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent software and AI-driven projects.
• Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and success criteria in alignment with stakeholders.
• Drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning using Agile/Scrum practices.
• Ensure predictable delivery through structured tracking of progress, dependencies, and risks.

Technical Oversight

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams (backend, frontend, DevOps, data) to understand architecture and technical constraints.
• Participate in technical discussions to ensure feasibility, scalability, and alignment with client expectations.
• Review high-level solution approaches and ensure clarity in execution plans.
• Identify potential technical risks early and work with teams to mitigate them.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients (primarily U.S.-based).
• Translate business requirements into actionable technical tasks for internal teams.
• Manage client expectations, timelines, and scope ensuring transparency and trust.
• Conduct regular status updates, demos, and review meetings with stakeholders.

Team Coordination & Execution

• Work closely with developers, QA, and infrastructure teams to remove blockers and maintain delivery momentum.
• Ensure clear communication between offshore (India) and onshore (U.S.) stakeholders.
• Mentor team members on process adherence, ownership, and quality standards.

Process & Quality Excellence

• Establish and enforce best practices in documentation, estimation, and reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and team efficiency.
• Ensure proper usage of tools like JIRA, Confluence, and other project tracking systems.
• Monitor KPIs such as delivery timelines, defect rates, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in IT project management, technical delivery, or engineering management.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
• Good technical understanding of modern web/backend systems (e.g., APIs, microservices, cloud).
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.

Required Skills

• Experience working with AI/ML and data-driven applications.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Prior experience working with U.S.-based clients or distributed teams.
• Background in development (Python, React, Angular, etc.) is a strong advantage.
