Technical Project Manager / Delivery Head

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager / Delivery Head to lead end-to-end software delivery initiatives, combining strong technical expertise in application development with sound system architecture knowledge. The ideal candidate will bridge technical execution and project governance to drive efficient and business-aligned software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of complex enterprise application development projectsfrom requirements and solution design through development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

Define project scope, objectives, delivery milestones, and resource plans; manage execution across multiple concurrent workstreams and cross-functional teams.

Apply hands-on technical knowledge of backend development (Node.js, Python, Java) and cloud architecture to guide engineering decisions, review designs, and resolve technical blockers.

Own project governance maintain delivery dashboards, status reports, RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions), and stakeholder communications.

Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint reviews) and drive team velocity, quality, and continuous improvement.

Manage CI/CD pipelines, release planning, and deployment coordination across development, staging, and production environments.

Partner with QA leads to ensure comprehensive test coverage, quality gates, and defect management processes are in place throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Engage with senior business stakeholders, product owners, and technology leaders to align delivery priorities, manage expectations, and present progress updates.

Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate delivery risks and issues; escalate critical blockers with proposed resolution paths.

Manage third-party vendor relationships, integration dependencies, and technology procurement activities as required.

Drive technical documentation standardsensuring architecture decision records, API documentation, runbooks, and handover materials are maintained.

Mentor project team members, promote engineering best practices, and contribute to the development of the organisation's delivery frameworks and playbooks.

Mandatory Requirements

Should have experience delivering enterprise-grade application development projects.

Must have prior development experience in open-source technologies such as Node.js, Python or Java backend development. Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and application architecture is required.

Minimum 10 years of hands-on development experience is mandatory.
