Technical Program Manager

THIS IS A LONG TERM CONTRACT POSITION WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY LEADERS.

We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead the execution of complex technical programs. This role requires strong project management expertise combined with a solid understanding of cloud technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery aligned with business goals.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field
• 57 years of experience in Technical Program or Project Management
• Proven experience delivering complex technical projects
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
• Good knowledge of cloud technologies and platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud projects (migration, infrastructure, or cloud-native applications)
• Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience managing vendors or external partners

Key Responsibilities

Program & Project Management

• Manage end-to-end delivery of technical programs, from planning through execution and closure
• Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and success metrics
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation
• Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies
• Ensure timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards

Technical & Cloud Alignment

• Understand and work with cloud-based architectures and services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Translate technical requirements into structured execution plans
• Collaborate with engineering teams to drive efficient implementation

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Coordinate across engineering, product, and operations teams
• Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and leadership
• Resolve cross-functional dependencies and execution challenges

Process Improvement

• Drive Agile/Scrum best practices across teams
• Continuously improve delivery processes, communication, and efficiency
