Were Hiring: Technical Operations Manager (Night Shift)

Are you a cloud operations leader who thrives under pressure and knows how to keep systems running 24x7? Were looking for a Technical Operations Manager (Cloud) to lead our night operations and ensure maximum uptime, rapid incident response, and seamless handovers.

Role Overview

This is a hands-on leadership role combining real-time technical incident management with team leadership. Youll oversee critical infrastructure, guide a team of engineers, and act as the go-to person during high-severity outages.

What Youll Do

• Lead a rotating team to ensure continuous 24x7 cloud operations
• Own Severity-1 & Severity-2 incident resolution
• Monitor system health using tools like Datadog & New Relic
• Ensure strict adherence to SLA performance metrics
• Conduct structured and reliable shift handovers
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement

Technical Expertise Were Looking For

• Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Monitoring & logging tools: Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus, ELK
• ITSM platforms: ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk
• Working knowledge of Linux/Windows & scripting (Bash/Python)
• Understanding of data pipeline deployment & monitoring

Key Soft Skills

• Calm and decisive during critical incidents
• Clear communicator with strong stakeholder management
• Analytical mindset for identifying recurring issues
• Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends & holidays

Experience Required

• 10+ years in Cloud Support / NOC / SRE environments
• 3+ years in leadership or senior technical roles
• Relevant certifications (AWS, Azure, ITIL) are a plus
