Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Tech Lead with strong experience in Golang, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and database design. You will lead a team of engineers, drive system architecture, and build scalable, high-performance backend services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable backend systems using Golang
• Architect and implement cloud-native solutions on GCP
• Own end-to-end system design, including APIs, microservices, and data pipelines
• Guide the team on best practices in coding, testing, and deployment
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and security
• Mentor engineers and conduct code reviews
• Drive CI/CD implementation and DevOps practices
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and optimize system performance

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands - on experience in Golang
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as

1. Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Run
2. BigQuery / Cloud Storage

• Solid understanding of microservices architecture
• Strong database knowledge:

1. SQL
2. NoSQL

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools
• Strong problem-solving and system design skills

FinTech Specific Expectations

• Experience working with payments systems, wallets, or banking integrations
• Understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and data security standards
• Experience handling high-volume, low-latency transactions
• Knowledge of fraud detection, risk systems, or ledger systems is a plus

Experience

• 7+years of software development experience
• Prior experience in a technical leadership or senior role
