Learn more about Engineering, AI and Data Your work profile Deploy and configure hypervisors and virtualization clusters Install and manage VMware/Nutanix environments Provision VMs, templates, networks, and storage Perform OS installation and patching (Linux/Windows) Support backup, restore, and DR drills Execute L2 troubleshooting and incident resolution Support cloud migrations and workload onboarding Maintain documentation, SOPs, and runbooks Strong fundamentals in: Virtualization (VMware/Nutanix) Storage (SAN/NAS/HCI) Key Skills Required Networking basics (VLAN, routing, firewall concepts) Linux/Windows OS admin Basic scripting (PowerShell/Bash/Python) Understanding of backup tools (Veeam/Commvault/etc.) Exposure to containers/Kubernetes/OpenShift (preferred) 35 years infrastructure/virtualization experience At least 3 years hands-on with Private Cloud/SDDC Certifications (Good to have) VCP / Nutanix NCA / RHCSA
